I promise to wear my comb, veil or tiara with pride on my wedding day, take all the valliums or prozac I need to keep from 'freakin' and to make my BMs wear the prettiest dress possible. I also promise to never rat out another LIW bride to her FH/DH or coworkers, I promise to use FM when a LIW bride hurts me and/or confront her face-to-face and above all, promise to adapt to our everchanging doctrine as we are a new 'society' of believers and I am just beginning to learn the laws of our beliefs. Faithfully devoted am I with something old, new, borrowed and blue!!

I also promise to never rat out another LIW bride to her FH/DH or coworkers, I promise to use FM when a LIW bride hurts me and/or confront her face-to-face and above all, promise to adapt to our everchanging doctrine as we are a new 'society' of believers and I am just beginning to learn the laws of our beliefs. History of the Bridentologists:

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, yesterday to be exact, an angry BM posted her thoughts and created uber drama. Also not so very long ago, another LIW's BM and someone's FH called LIW a cult...prompting jokes about ceremonial robes and candles. To further promote the fun and bring us all back down to earth through laughter (and tears from those on the verge of termination at work from laughing so hard), we wanted to make the 'cult' come alive.....more so than ever before. Through a little tongue-in-cheek wit about 'PC', as 'founder' I decided that calling it an addiction was insulting to real addicts and that many girls would not be permitted to join because their LIW-A (LIW Annonymous) Sponsors simply wouldn't allow them to venture on a journey with our belief system if it were in fact called an 'addiction.' Thus, out of disapproval of TC (who actual image is not allowed on 'Bridentology' threads) and Scientology, the Bridentologists began. All names are given by our very own, kittythestray.


A little more about our beliefs:

-We believe strongly in the power and usuage of prescription psychiatric medications.

-We believe Scientology is blasphemy to humans as a whole.

-We believe in keeping the peace, save the drama for your mama. (Don't come on our boards/threads calling anyone a name other than their appointed screen name + bridentology name)

-We believe in tulle. (See a NWR post where I said so)

-We believe in the power of tequila, women and hot waiters named 'Jean Luke.'

-We believe you look great in that dress no matter what FMIL, FSIL or your step-mom says. (This extneds fully to piercings, hairstyle and tattoos.)

-We believe in supporting our members fully and shunning no one. Ever. It's not nice.

-We believe in RESPECT. Something that everyone wants, but doesn't always get. Here, you will be respected at all times. If you are not, you FM it out and you don't bring the squabble to the boards. (see 'save the drama for your mama')

-Above all, we believe in having FUN no matter what our bosses, sisters, friends and FH/DHs think. Bridentology may be a lot of things, but stupid is not one of them...we take it very seriously here. (And by serious, I mean we use it to LFAO!!!!)

-Learn to love our theme song, 'Thank You For Being A Friend' (think Golden Girls...and no, you can't pick which one you want to be because I'm still debating which one I want to be....Blanche or Sophia....they both had soooo much fun)
