So undecided - just meeting my minimum, do I reach out to aquaintances or not?

I am not at my final RSVP date yet and a few people I expected to bring dates are not, so i'm juuuust making my minimum. I wanted to keep it small so I didn't over invite by that many.
Is it rude if I'm one month out to reach out to people I didn't invite? I know some girls on here have done that and people weren't offended. On the other hand, I'm having a small wedding so maybe I should just keep it small and not invite someone that I don't think I'm going to be friends with in the future.
This is the worst part! I'm just worried if anyone cancels last minute I won't meet it.

I think in the end, I'm not going to do that and I'm going to keep it as it is. I know I can always call on some seat fillers from here I know they can always count the vendors or something too if it's just a few.
Sorry this is half question/half vent that I'm stressed but I always feel better after letting it out here!

I would definitely use your vendors as people then and use any children as adults as well.

We are hacing a small wedding too (100 people) and are trying to keep it as close as possible to that number. So far we are a couple of people over and our RSVP date is today. Although I am still waiting for quite a few RSVPs.

I think you will be fine!!

I was having a small wedding, but people decided to ask me to invite others. So now I'm over my minimum, big time!!! OMG!

I plan to use my vendors to reach my minimum if necessary. I don't want to add people just for the sake of adding them.

Btw, for those waiting on RSVPs--- I put up a FB status on April 1st how everyone has 20 days to get their RSVPs in and 20 days before I behead anyone who does not get them in in a timely manner and it totally worked! 4 RSVPs yesterday and 3 came in the mail today! I highly suggest threats to get those RSVPs in!

Not sure if you did, but don't forget to include yourself and FH.
Some halls might include the 2 of you but doesn't hurt to double check.

Yeah I mean money wise it's best to stay at our minimum which is just under 100 so I will probably not start adding people just to add them. I'm sure it would seem silly afterwards.
And it's true, if you add the vendors, you only lose half! I don't think we'll be under but just in case of anything happening last minute.

We are a little below our minimum, but with the vendors we pretty much break even! If you want to keep it small, then don't invite anyone else.
