So I met with my church today and they erased our marriage and booked a baptism in its place. I started crying uncontrollably. My FH felt horrible. Apparently another couple canceled their wedding and instead of canceling theirs in the book they canceled ours!!
Right now they pushed back the baptism but I know people are going to show up for the baptism because they might not be able to get a hold of everyone. I'm just so upset...because I want pictures in the church afterwards. My mom said the 'babies will have to wait because we are taking pictures afterwards or else' LOL!

Oh No! So sorry this is happening to you hun! I guess its a good thing the church did try to correct their mistake by moving back the baptism.

Yeah..the worst part of it all was that if we didn't schedule this meeting we would of showed up to get married and the doors would of been locked.

Oh No!! I am so sorry this happened to you! Don't worry! Everything will be fine. You get married, take pictures, and take your time! If I was the mother of the baby, i would graciously wait outside and let you finish. Don't worry....they will understand and you will have a fantastic day!!

i agree with mom, the babies should have to be rescheduled... you paid and booked and DIDNT cancel, so you shouldnt have to be put out because they made a mistake or not. ... church or not they still messed up and you have every right to be furious

Oh my gosh that is horrible!! I am so sorry! They should definitely tell the baptism to reschedule. It's a lot easier to change a baptism rather than a wedding!!

the church should be calling their own music director and straightening this out themselves!!! they made this mistake why should you have to do all the clean up. i would call back the church and say listen i tried calling YOUR music director and he didnt answer YOU get in touch with him and figure this mess out.
