So Upset! - UPDATE

So one of my 'friends' asked me to send her the pic of my wedding gown because she wanted to see it so I did. Last night I got an email forward from her and it was titled 'Re: Lauren's Wedding Gown' and in it she is describing my gown to another friend and says 'I like it but it doesn't flatter her stomach at all.' Obviously she didn't mean to forward it to me. I called her and she was speechless and had nothing to say - I think she was in shock that she accidentally sent it to me. I'm so upset - she has me second guessing my wedding gown! And I'm really self conscious about my stomach as it is. I called some of my bridesmaids and they swear they would have never let me buy a gown that didn't look good on me. I believe them because they are really good friends and are always honest with me. I'm just so upset - that's my wedding gown she's talking about! Plus she's talking about me behind my back. Now of course I don't want to talk to her and she's beside herself calling everyone crying and asking them what she should do. She has completely ruined the whole experience for me!


I came home to a dozen roses from her and a card begging me to forgive her. I called her and told her how awful she made me feel and she definitely knew and was remorseful. I'm letting it go because it's not worth it to stay angry - I have enough going on. She feels horrible as it is so I don't really see the need to keep punishing her. Besides, she's not one of my really close friends that I talk to everyday - more like one that I catch up every other month or so. Thanks for all of the advice!

08er crashing....I can not believe the nerve of some poeple!! how rude! i just looked at your pictures of you in your dress, and I will be honest with you.. You look BEAUTIFUL!!!! I dont know what your 'friend' is even talking about? I dont see anything wrong with your stomach and if anything the layering in the front actually conceals it.I mean you even had Randy fro say Yes to the dress there!! He wouldnt steer you wrong! I think that girl should be embarrased and cry, maybe she should realize how words can hurt someone. Dont let her ruin your experience! You look gorgeous, the dress fits you beautifully!! And if you are self concious of your tummy, you have plenty of time to work on it. But honestly. you dont need to change a thing!!!

first of all, let me just say this, in my personal opinion, any wedding gown that anyone puts on looks good...i tried on so many different ones and i loved the way they all looked and it was just a matter of choosing my favorite

second, i can't believe that happened. since u already confronted the girl, i would just let it go and listen to ur bridesmaids they're right, they would never let u buy something u didn't look good in

please don't second guess urself, i'm sure u look beautiful in the dress

Thank you that's sweet! Randy was actually with me the entire time and when I put this dress on he insisted that it looked the best on my body out of all of them so I do trust that he wouldn't have let me buy that dress if it made my stomach look bad!

You look fine that girl is probably just jealous #1 that you are getting married and #2 that your going to be on TV. Your stomach is not bad at all, I personally would tell her how horrible she is and let her figure out how to make it up to you!!!!!

Holy Cr*p, that girl is the biggest Biotch!!!!!!! I cannot believe she would say anything like that behind your back. First of all, your dress is insanely gorgeous and looks perfect on you. Second of all, this girl is NOT a friend and she is CLEARLY jealous of you!!!!!!!! She deserves to feel bad and crying right now because what she did/said was inexcusable. Even IF your gown looked bad on you (which it absolutely does not) you just don't say these kinds of things about brides and certainly NOT about friends!!!!!!!!
