So we haven't had a vent/pet peeve thread in awhile

Let's try to keep it non-LIW related please!

I am really annoyed lately when people ask you a question the first time like they've already asked you 5 times..Do you know what i mean? I mean at least give me a chance to answer to or do what you want before you get testy with me!!!!!!!!

I'm also really annoyed about FH's job. They call him at ALL hours of the night. He has rotating night and weekend duty (and I have to deal with sleeping next to him with his beeper on), but that doens't even MATTER because they call him even when he's NOT on duty and make him work to fix whatever whether it's a saturday or 2am or what. last night he was supposed to come over, but then someone form the affiliate in texas called him at home with a probem..and I said 'what if you were already at my house' and he said 'they would have yelled at me for being unreachable' I had NO IDEA he was supposed to be on call 24/7. I HATE that. it really makes me SICK..I don't know why, but to does. I feel like they can invade our life at any moment, and he has no time when he's not working> Isn't being there 12+ hour a day good enough?

My biggest pet peeve is and always will be gum crackers. There's a woman in the office next to me who starts cracking away at 8am

My next biggest pet peeve is loud eaters - specifically the people at the movie theater who chew popcorn so loud it's like they have a megaphone next to their mouth

DH CONSTANTLY picks his cuticles or bites his nails. It drives me absolutely insane!!!!

People at the checkout who wait until the last item is bagged before they start the search for their wallet. It drives me NUTS...there should be no mystery...you pick up the stuff..figures you would end up having to pay for it no??

I was just thinking how annoying the person standing at my desk talking to me was while I was trying to EAT MY LUNCH! Hello, leave, I'm trying to eat! I always walk away if I see someone chewing their food. Not have an hour long conversation.

i'd have to say my biggest pet peeve is people who leave me waiting. For example, I can't stand when someone says, I'll meet you at 6, or I'll be there at 12, and then show up at least 1/2 hour late, or worse, show up late and act like, 'oh, were you waiting long?'
HELLOOOO!!! You said 12 o'clock, NOT 12:45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!

I just thought of another one - when DH tries to eat some of my food. I hate that! He should know by now that when I'm hungry, do NOT come near my food. Ann doesn't share!

I don't care if FH touches my food, but OMG My SISTER. She doesn't just touch, she pokes her fingers allll over it, tastes a bit, sticks the LICKED finger back in, then decides she doesn't want any. ew ew ew
She's done this since she was a toddler!

Self centered people who think the whole freaking world is about them!!!!!! That everything you say is about them. That all you have is for them, it annoys me to know end. I feel like screaming just because I choose to buy a lot of things for my classroom doesn't mean it's yours to take

People who walk into a store (like a Deli) and pay no mind to the other people around them who haven't been helped yet, walk right up to the counter and just start blurting out their order whether they were next or not. This happened to me today! So rude!

People who can't park or drive their SUVs.

People who stand NEXT to you on line instead of behind you - like they're gonna cut if you they get the chance.

Garbage in the kitchen sink.

I am guilty of that..come 5 o'clock I have 3 minutes to catch my bus so I grab whatever is there

definitely people that are late, I hated it because I always try to be early.
When men take up all the space in the subway seats and don't even bother to move a little and you have to squeeze in.

maybe I expect too much but I hate it when men sit on the bus and don't offer their seats. I know it sounds crazy, but maybe I am on my period, maybe I have to go home to kids and cook and clean, whatever women have to do afterwork, I am sure it is more than a man

And when they are IN the elevator, even if its practically empty they'll stand RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU

I agree, in an ideal world there would be more gentlemen.
