Crap I feel so behind!
We have the RH and the photographer. Oh and STD's Other than that we are waiting until the new year to do anything else. I think I am going to start looking at dresses in Feb.

your not behind we have plenty of time I just have a groomzilla who wants everything booked so we start paying asap lol we arent charging anything we wanna pay it all off we want no bills and are paying ourselves so we need the extra time... congrats and enjoy dress shopping was amazing sad its over :( lol

I am super nervous about going dress shopping. I am plus size and so afraid that nothing will fit or even look good on me. Kinda dreading it.

OMG you sound just like me dont be worried I was felt so bad it has be the one thing I was dreading myself nd let me tell you It was the best expirence ever I am also plus size and thought i would look like a huge cake and nothing would be flattering and boy am I glad I was wrong... your going to be fine there are so many dresses for us curvier girls and they dont look like grandmas dress your going to have a great time ;)

Can I ask where you went to try on dresses? I started weight watchers recently. But I am being realistic even if I lose 30 pounds I'll be happy. I know that I will never be a size 2.

I'm definitely open to suggestions for dress shopping! I'm planning a blitz dress shopping experience... hit lots of places over 3-4 days, take lots of pictures, and hopefully find one I really like. I have a good idea of the style I'm looking for... I care about that much more than the designer.
I was thinking of going to Kleinfelds, RK Bridal (if they're open on Sundays), Lilettes, Bridal Reflections, Helens, Village Bridal, and maybe one more. My sister is going to be sorry she insisted on going dress shopping with me!
Yippie! Wedding dress shopping in NYC...should be a spectacular experience! Here are a few options:
Pronovias NYC Flagship store - 14 east 52nd street between 5th and Madison, New York, NY 10022 (I have a Pronovias gown and love it! I got mine in Queens at Wedding Plaza, but if you are only shopping in Manhattan you can check out the Flagship store. Wedding Plaza prices are supposed to be a bit less expensive.)
Designer Loft - 226 West 37th Street, 2nd Floor New York, New York, 10018 (One of my co-workers got hers here and said they were great!)
RK Bridal is cool - a friend of mine got her dress there. I was in her wedding. We also got our BM dresses there.

I can't remember the exact date but I do remember it is a Thursday in February. Loula said she would send an invitation, I'll let you know as soon as I get it.

Genesis is our house DJ and I'm really hoping I like them because I would love to use the speakers in the ceiling. Went to a wedding at NRC last month and was blasted all night sitting next to the speakers. Miserable.
