For the ladies that are doing this, are you doing it before or after the wedding?

I know someone that did it but i want to still have the option of wearing my wedding band by itself sometimes.

I'm doing it because if you look at the pictures of my rings if they were to twist my wedding band will wear down my ering and knock the stones out.

I have a friend that did this. Does your wedding band sit flush up against your e-ring? I looked at your pics. Both rings are gorgeous! What do you mean it will wear down your e-ring? Did your jeweler tell you this? I'm not soldering mine because my e-ring has diamond details that I would lose if I did, and I want the option to wear my wedding band separately.

They don't sit flush, the points of the wedding band rub against my e-ring. I love the wedding band though so I had to have it. I have side stones on my e-ring that won't be seen when I solder then but if I don't solder then then I risk them getting knocked out. The jeweler pointed it out to me.
