Some Assembley Required???

I just received one of my sample invitations - (pic enclosed)

BUUuuuutttt...

It comes with a little piece of sticky tape to attach the 2 cards together. I noticed you have to purchase bows separately as well....

So I am going to have to sit there and put my invitations together???? Attach cards together and bows and everything????

Did anyone else have to do this????

What you can do is find out from the company if they can asseble them for you. They may do it at an additional cost if you do not mind paying extra.

I would definetly call and ask them. That invite is so cute, it would be a shame to pass it up.

if the invites were inexpensive, i wouldnt mind putting some work to them, but if they are pricey, no way!

If you have the time and help it might be fun- my BM did her's herself and got a sticker making machine that puts adhesive on the back of the paper. It looked cute for hers- but her's came with the ribbon. It was a lot of work tho. You have to clean the edges of the layers bc the adhesive gets on the edges but it's not all that sticky- reminds me of a thin version of what they use to stick cerdit cards to paper when they mail them to you. You can get the 'machine'- (it's not all that fancy) at a craft store and try it out if you want but it's an expense if you decide not to do them.

My invite lady said that you can pay people at the companies to put them together for you if you want- see if your company will do that.

My only problem would be that the ribbon isn't included- otherwise it's a very cute invite!!

That's why I went with simple ones

They are relatively inexpensive - I don't know ladies, I'm on the fence with this one...

Just stuffing the invites with response and direction cards was annoying enough. I say to pass on these!

I'm all for DIY, but if you don't feel its worth it, don't bother. IMO those invites aren't my taste, but if you like them and you don't mind doing them, go for it!
