Some help in picking a venue !!

Hello my name is john and my future bride and I just got engaged on 12/6/13. We are looking or a little advice in best venues to look at for our budget and size of the wedding. We will have around 300 guests and want a Saturday night reception. Our max will be about $110 pp ( including tax and gratuity ). Thank you or your time and any and all insight is greatly appreciated.

Some help in picking a venue !! - Long Island Weddings

crashing....
2015 bride here....I think there is alot of places that you can get for under $110. I think the problem is the guest list. im not sure how manyplaces hold 300+ people. I know my hall does, th sterling caterers in bethpage, the champagne room. jericho terrace might? coral house?brbridgeview yachet club? u know who will def fit a large guest list, a hotel.... Huntington Hilton or the Melville Marriott! viana hotel is gorgeous maybe they will too!

congrats! good luck!

I agree with budgetbride. especially if your looking for a saturday night. also depends on the time of year. if your looking non-peak times definately do-able. check out crest hollow (gave a good price for april 69 on a sunday), the north ritz, chateau la mer...

Re: Some help in picking a venue !!

I was a wedding at Woodbury Country Club that had about the # of guests you're looking at. The problem is, I don't know what they charge per plate but they might be worth a look!

the milleridge cottage is under $100 for a sat night before tax and service charge and holds 400 people- it's also one wedding at a time and it's not your 'typical' wedding venue. It's got all hardwood floors and has a 'homey' feel to it, but the ballroom is gigantic...check it out :)

I'm not sure if chateau la mer holds 300 people but I was at the inn in new Hyde park & they have a room that will hold that many people. I would also check out Jericho terrace!

Congratulations!

Floral Terrace, depending on the time of year, will definitely be able to work around your budget for a Saturday night and they will be able to hold 300+. They also give you SO much for your money. :)
