People can be so rude!!! Someone FH works with once told he that people only get married on Friday nights because they can't really afford it, and we are getting married on a friday night!!! I know that she is jealous and thats why she said it so thats probally the same case with your friend

I wonder what she would say tome. We have a budget of $3,000. She sounds like the person who told me that I shouldn't get married because I couldn't afford to! There are some very ignorant people out there. Who cares where you get married? What matters is who you are marrying, and that they love you!

WHAT?!?!?! I couldnt believe this when i read it. I don't know where some people get off. Just remember...you picked your hall for many reasons. Stand by your opinion. I am sure it is beautiful and the food is great. There is so much competition in New York among catering halls that no catering hall can afford to slip in it's quality. Best of luck to you and FH having a beautiful and delicious reception. After eating all of the delicious food and soaking up the beauty of the catering hall, your friend will eat her words!
