I brought my garbage out to the curb this morning and in between my neighbors house and my house I found a surprise. A dead cat in a black garbage bag! Someone must have dropped the bag in the street and left it there. Absolutely disgusting.
I called 311 and someone is coming to pick it up. It's so terrible.

I certainly hope that it was NOT alive when they dropped it in the street. The bag was run over and the poor cat's tail and paw was sticking out of the bag..that's how i knew there was an animal in there.

That is so horrible! I watch that show Animal Precinct all the time and I find myself crying at how evil people can be to animals. I don't understand.

That is really f&*%ing disgusting. How can someone take a dead cat and just throw it in a trash bag??? I just don't get people. They probably treat human beings like trash too.

OMG - how absolutely disgusting! How can people treat animals so cruelly!? There should be MUCH harsher penalties for people who are cruel to animals. (I am a cat mommy of two.)

People are sick. We had a little kid on our block knock on our door a few months ago to see if our cats were inside.(They always are because they are indoor cats.) He said someone hit a cat and kept going. Poor thing was dead. Me and my husband had to go out to the corner and put on gloves and throw it in a garbage bag. We drove it to an animal hospital and were willing to pay for the cremation. When we told the woman the story, she didn't charge us. I don't know how anyone can hurt or kill an animal.And even if it was an accident, the guy just kept going.

That makes me so sick. I KNEW I shouldnt have read this thread! I cry whenever I think about my beautiful cat that I had to put to sleep last month. It disgusts me that someone would discard an animal in the street if it was dead and it's incomprehensibly sickening that someone may have done it with the cat alive.
That really depresses me.
