I think I might have written about this before- but I used to be friendly with this girl and long story short- she bounced a check to me & made no kind of apology or attempt to pay me for the fees or money that I was out.
Ok so fine- it cost me $100 but at least I found out what kinda person she was.
So now yesterday, I am online and my away message was 490 days to go and when I get back to the computer i see that the B*TCH has IM'd me and said- wow your wedding is coming up fast- can't wait to get the invite!
I was so tempted to write back 'W T F makes you think that you are invited' but I just signed off.
Ok so here is the thing- she is very close with two of my close friends-- and I don't want to invite her- is that ok? BTW no one knows about the bounced check thing because I didnt want to embarass her... what would you do?

Re: Some people s*ck!
Just think, her gift could be a check and the whole ordeal could repeat!
Okay, bad joke...that was an awful thing of her to do and if you don't speak, don't invite her!
People can assume all they want but that does not mean you need to invite them!
It's your day, don't forget that!

wow people who assume they are invited are the WORST. You should invite people because you want to, not because you feel obligated to. Invite who you want..who cares what she thinks, it's all about you!

Yea- I didn't want to call her- because I was upset that it happened and she ignored it--- i sent her an email just telling her that there had been a problem with the check and commerce charged me a $15 fee- she wrote back-- 'oh I wondered why my bank charged me a $35 fee, makes sense now, thanks for the information'
i was pretty pissed at her answer and was a tad bit immature--- so i wrote back 'your welcome, happy to help', please send me a new check to (and gave her my address)
she never answered me - and I havent seen or heard from her since she im'd me yesterday

If you don't speak to her anymore or much then I wouldn't invite her. Many people will assume they are invited to every party. If you want her there, invite her but there is no obligation to invite anyone.

Re: Some people s*ck!
Why would she even expect an invitation seeing as she did that to you and you haven't spoken to her. She's in denial.

Re: Some people s*ck!
I don't think you should invite her because the of the other girls. If you don't want to then you shouldn't. Let them assume and if you want you can tell them the real reason if they ask. You should not feel like you have to just because they are friends with her. You have your reasons.

Don't invite her if she never got back to you about the check. Where are her manners?!

Re: Some people s*ck!
so you both got charged from both banks and no one got the money from the check??? she probably thought you got the money from her account if she got charged the over draft fee....I wouldn't have brushed it off...I would have gotten the money from her one way or another...

Re: Some people s*ck!
If I was sure there was no misunderstanding on her part about the bounced check, I wouldn't invite her....I could care less about what my other friends would think....she's their friends, not mine...lol!

Re: Some people s*ck!
Just my 2 cents....
She never responded to you...then assumes she is invited.
I would tell your other two friends who are close with her, that you have decided not to invite her. If they ask why either tell them straight out, or tell them that you have your reasons and that's it.
Then again...it's just my 2 cents!
Hope everything works out!

IF she is closer to two of your friends than she is to you, you defintely do not have to invite her.

Re: Some people s*ck!
Wow that is unreal! I would totally not invite her. I mean she probably knew the check wasn't paid out since her balance would have reflected the 100 dollars. What horrible manners? Was the check for a gift or money she owed you? If it was a gift that was in poor taste, but if it was a repayment that is very flaky and shady. You so know what you would get as a wedding gift (not saying getting married is about the gift at all) but instead of a gift you'd get a fee! Nuts!
