Wow - that's really ridiculous - I would never go to a wedding of any kind and give less than $200 per couple. even if i couldn't afford it! if i couldn't afford it, i wouldn't go and then just send a $50-100 gift.

This made me laugh outloud b/c we were just talking about it post e-party. My mom and dad were laughing at how $25 was a lot for a gift at their wedding - and we were getting double, tripple and more for the e-party.
I get it - some people can only afford so much - but i mean, $25???? I know its not about the money - but that is just a slap in the face IMO.

I got a $25 visa card from someone as a wedding gift.
I also got $50 from one couple.
And a bunch of NO GIFTERS at all. Even from people who insisted on bringing a date last minute...not even a card.
