Im sure that they will be fine...they do this every weekend...however, If I were you I would contact my wedding consultant, and inquire about this...at the same time I would say something along the line of, 'im concerned at how close the time between parties is, Im assuming if the CH before me runs over, that you are going to extend that time onto my reception.'

I think they can do it. . . my place is not that close but pretty close and I was freaking out at first. . besides I would think if they are NOT done, they will extend your CH for free to keep you happy, they for sure won't kick you out. . so it should be good!
I have to agree with everyone else Gina! It will be ok in the end. Worse comes to worse they mask it, the guests won't know any better and you will get some freebees... but i think everything will be set up and completed on time. THey have been in business for a long time and know what they are doing and what it entails by now.
I'm sorry though. I know it must be stressful. Any luck on the photobooth situation? did you see if you can have it set up elsewhere then brought in?

I would DEFINITELY get on the horn with Fox Hollow and say something. That would upset and worry me, too. . .but I would think that if it's taking longer than expect to set up the reception, they would intentionally keep the guests in the CH for a few extra minutes (at no extra cost). That happened at a wedding FH and I were at last weekend at the Glen Cove Mansion--it took an extra 15 minutes to set up the RH after the wedding (since the ceremony took place in the same room), so they kept us munching on CH food for an extra few minutes.

OMG Gina don't cry....I used to be a waitress in a catering hall for many years. We could turn over a room in 10 minutes for 1000 people. There is nothing to worry about, they are soooo used to doing stuff like that. Trust me I could personally set up 5 tables with a dozen guests each (that's 60!) by myself in less than 10 minutes.
