'something blue' crystals

first let me say, i'm not a very crafty person. i tried to put the blue crystals on the bottom of my shoes tonight like Stuart Weitzman 'Something Blue'. HUGE disaster. I used Krazy Glue...maybe that was wrong, but the damn crystals just wouldn't stick!!!!

If anyone did this...PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
