Ok, so I haven't even thought of my something borrowed, something new, etc. If someone offered you something as the borrowed and you didn't want to wear it, how do you turn it down nicely? I have a feeling someone may be doing this with their jewerly and I planned on buying my own earrings, etc for the day.

i would just be like thank you so much for offering, its gorgeous, but i was planning on buying this particular set i found (or lie and be like fh surprised me with this set i was dying for)
what jewelery pieces are they? is it something you can incorporate into your boquet or something like a brooch?

Earrings. I think FMIL is offering hers. Her jewerly really isn't my taste.
Could you just tell her you already bought something???
