ok so i was thinking...i have looked online at BP pics and stuff...and i understand that brides wanna look the best of everyone on their wedding day. But why would people really want their BP to look horrible for pics...like people pick ugly dresses, or have them wear their hair how it is unflattering to certain people etc... i just couldnt imagine doing that to someone! you have to look back onthose pics too do u really wanna regrat how you made everyone look? I just dont get it lol thought id share since it was on my mind! :) im glad i have only been in 1 wedding and the dresses were pretty! lol and i got to do whatever i wanted with my hair and makeup.

Maybe some people actually like the looks we think are horrible? hehe....I mean we might think a dress is hideous, but someone must like it otherwise it wouldn't exist!

i just think that people have different tastes and weddings are really the only occasion where other people are telling you what to wear so it becomes apparent that someone's taste may not be the same as yours

lol no i mean people who do it on purpose lol! i heard a few different girls at dress shops saying nah thats too nice for them...no thats to dressy for them im the bride lol ......found that disturbing

I dont know if Iam going to have a BP but if I do then want my BP to look hot as always. I would never have them in an ugly dress. But if I dont have a BP I dont want people to think FH and I are being selfish and want all eyes on focused on us

I want everyone to look nice and let my BMs pick their dress but I'm sure there are lots of people out there who think my BM dresses are awful - I haven't seen any past bride pick my BM dress or color on LIW (or my wedding dress for that matter), but.... I like it and my girls told me they like it so whatever!
A friend of mine (A) was a BM in the wedding of one of my sorority sisters (B) and I didn't love the dresses - short, purple, very very very metallic bubble skirts. A wore the BM dress to an 'ugly dress party' and pix made it onto facebook and B got pissed!
