ok so i was thinking...i have looked online at BP pics and stuff...and i understand that brides wanna look the best of everyone on their wedding day. But why would people really want their BP to look horrible for pics...like people pick ugly dresses, or have them wear their hair how it is unflattering to certain people etc... i just couldnt imagine doing that to someone! you have to look back onthose pics too do u really wanna regrat how you made everyone look? I just dont get it lol thought id share since it was on my mind! :) im glad i have only been in 1 wedding and the dresses were pretty! lol and i got to do whatever i wanted with my hair and makeup.

I wouldn't purposely make my bridal party look awful... like, if i wanted all their hair up, but it looked silly, i'd nix the idea you know?
as for the dresses... maybe the brides really like the bm dresses they picked and liked it on their bridal party.
I don't like when brides go out of their way to make their bridal party look bad. I think it's silly. But if the bride likes it... i guess that's what really matters you know?
The BM dress for my oldest brother's wedding was awful. and we had to wear elbow length gloves. it's hilarious looking back at those pictures, but my XSIL loved it and it made her happy so we all dealt with it.

lol no i mean people who do it on purpose lol! i heard a few different girls at dress shops saying nah thats too nice for them...no thats to dressy for them im the bride lol ......found that disturbing

that is weird... I would never do that. My girls are already gorgeous and I want them to look even more gorgeous!

Agree!!! Im letting my girls pick out their own dresses... The just all have to be in the same color... Other than color I dont care what dress they pick...They can all have different dresses, Id prefer them to all be long though... As far as hair and makeup goes... They can do whatever they want... They are spending the money, I want them to be comfortable and happy....

i let my girls decide on their dresses, and have told them as long as they have it done, they can do whatever they want w their hair. i agree, i dont get it...why would u want them 2 look bad?
i want everyone to feel beautiful that day...u always have more fun when u feel u look ur best and i want everyone 2 have the best time ever!!

i've seen that before.. and i dont understand it either.
personally i know my girls are spending alot, doing more than other guests and i want them to be as comfortable as humanly possible. dress, hair, shoes and makeup all included.
