I have done a search - their website is totally amazing and the fact that they are in a 718 area code (like me) means I don't have to trek out East again (again!!!!) for yet another appt. For those of you who are going with them, can you please tell me, via email or via forum mail, what exactly 'reasonable' means? 5K? 3K? Thanks...

They are photo people.

I have seen someone answer this question on the knot local NYC board, about a few weeks back...
I think they can be starting at average and ranging to expensive for packages, someone had something for 5k, but it seemed like one of the larger packages on their site. They don't give you the negatives, though.

Gold Package $2500.-
- up to eight hours of coverage
- two photographers
- up to two hours of travel time
- proofs in a proof book

- wedding album
- thirty 8'x10' enlargements for the album

Platinum Package $3700.-
- up to ten hours of coverage
- two photographers
- up to two hours of travel time
- proofs in a book
- location lighting
- wedding album
- forty 8'x10' enlargements for the album
- two parents albums with twenty 5'x7' in each

Blue Package $4700.-
- engagement portrait session
- thirty 8'x10' enlargements from the session
- up to ten hours of wedding day coverage
- two photographers
- up to two hours of travel time
- proofs in a book
- location lighting
- wedding album
- fifty 8'x10' enlargements for the album
- two parents albums with thirty 5'x7' in each

Custom Package $3500.-
- ownership of negatives with limited copyright
(right of reproduction for personal use only,
photographer reserves the right to request
the use of negatives for promotional purposes
and retains full copyright of the images)

+ dual-set proofs option $250.-

Portrait Session $400.-
