Is everyone having something new, borrowed, old and blue on their day? Is this a necessary tradition? If I don't follow it - will something bad happen?
I haven't even thought of it, and normally it's not done in my culture, but was just wondering if anyone else is not doing it...

I don't think you have to follow the tradition... I want to wear one of my moms rings.. (its the first piece of jewerly my dad ever gave my mom) It's a cute little flower ring and it's BLUE (so, techincally i'll borrow it, it'll be something blue and something old).... Just need to find something NEW..

Where are you girls finding the appliques for your shoes? I want to do this too... I've found them for like $5 online but they want $10+ to ship it which is ridiculous for a tiny thing!
