Wow, haven't even thought about it yet! But, my something new is my dress, shoes, tiara, etc ... my borrowed will most likely be my slip ... I think I am wearing my friend's ... my blue will be my garter or underwear ... and my old .... I think will be a 'B' charm, it was my aunt betty's and she died in 1997 of brain cancer. My sister had it sewn into her slip and I think I will have my mom or seamstress sew it onto the inside of my dress.

Something old: A piece of my mom's wedding dress cut out in the shape of a heart and sewn into the part of my dress over my heart. Something new: My dress/jewelry/shoes/etc Something borrowed: My dad's original wedding band. My mom got him a new one about 20 years ago so I borrowed his old one and pinned it under my dress. Something blue: My mom got me a piece of fabric embroidered in blue with mine and DH's name on it and the wedding date and the seamstress sewed it into the inside of my dress.

I think my MOH is going to do it all for me... she had said something a while back that she wants to kinda 'present' it to me

Does the church part count as the old or the borrowed? LOL! I am getting married at that same church my parents' were married in, so maybe I can count that, too! I never even thought of that! Thanks!

Re: something old, something new, something blue?
Actually right now.... I'm not sure.
I told everyone that I wanted it to be a surprise. Something that my MOHs, Mother, and FMIL give to me on that day.
Something old, new, borrowed, and blue. There are four sections -- > they need to work out who is going to do what.
I want it that way so that I have alone time to spend with each of them before I get married.
Hopefully they work together to figure out who will do what.

Something Old - two pieces of jewelry DH bought me while we were dating (necklace & bracelet) Something New - my dress & shoes Something Borrowed - a bracelet from my mom Something Blue - there was a blue ribbon on my garter but since I didn't wear it (it kept falling), I wrote a note with blue ink and put it in my shoe.
