So DH's cousin recently got engaged. His FW wore sweatpants to my ceromony. Yes, you read that right, sweatpants. I would LOOOVVVEEEE to wear sweats to her wedding, but I don't think I could bring myself to do it.
Would you ever sink below your standards to spite someone?

I usually just think up all kinds of fun ways to spite people.... but then I end up being too much of a wimp to go through with any of them!

No, it's over with. I'd just move on and wear whatever you would normally wear to someone's ceremony. You didn't have control over what guests wear to your ceremony, even though I'd never wear sweatpants to anyone's ceremony.

Totally tactless of her! I would definitely get her back. If not wear sweatpants then do something else. How about sending her a pair of tacky sweatpants as a wedding present! Ha! :D

Reminds me of DH's friend's wedding we attended in Vegas. The invite stated Black Tie Optional, and the bride's cousin showed up in a Harley Davidson t-shirt, blue jeans and work boots. She did notice and was pissed off about it.
I could never wear sweat pants!!! Even if you plan on changing between the ceremony and reception, at least thrown on a pair of khakis and a nice shirt!!!

I don't think I could get myself to wear sweats to the ceremony, but if there was time to change clothes before the reception, I could most definitely bring get myself to wear white!!! Then again, I can be truly evil when the situation calls for it!

If she thought it was okay to wear sweats to your wedding I don't think she could be mad if you wore it to hers. However, I think you'd be totally embarassed!
