In 2 weeks Saturday the 24th, I am supposed to go to a baby shower. It is for the woman who happened to set FH & I up. >>>>>>However this is her 4th child. She is re-married but this is her 2nd kid with her husband now.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ~~~~~~So.....I think that it is the day of my SHOWER~~~~~~~~~ Do people have baby showers if it is NOT their first Baby??? I dropped hints past FH & my Mom but they are Not saying a word. I haven't checked to see if she is registered, but FH said that she is at Target. I guess, I'll have to wait and find out. If Not my Shower than maybe my Bachlorette Party then???

I didn't have a shower with my first son, but I did with my second. It's not unheard of. Just make sure you primp yourself up

My friend had a shower between her second and third child because 7 years passed since her second child was born.

It's possible.....If the kids are a few years or more apart, the woman may not have the essentials for another baby in the house....My friend had a few showers....
BUT....then again....you never know!! Look your best that day anyway!

My step sister is the only one I know of who had a shower when it wasn't her fist baby. BUt the only reason is b/c she never had a shower for her first or second, and when she had the shower, she was having TWINS. That is fishy.........

It is getting more common to have a shower for each baby, however if you have not seen a formal invite to a baby shower I would be suspicious. Just look extra nice just in case!!!

should be for 1st child only but who cares! Do not try to find out.. you don't want to ruin their suprise for you. I was a bridemaid once and it is very hard to find an excuse to get the bride there.
