Song for bride`s walk down the aisle

I have always dreamed of walking down the aisle to Pachebel`s Cannon in D. I know it isn`t usually used for the bridal 'march' since it is a slow song and would probably fit in better with the processional. What should I do? Would it seem out of place if I used it for my entrance?

We are using Canon in D Pachelbel for the bridal party and the Bridal Chorus Wagner for me-- my cousin did canon in d for both and it was nice Laura

I'm using Canon D also. Our Rabbi discourages Wagner's chorus so Pachebel was an easy decision.

Song for bride`s walk down the aisle

Ok, so Cannon in D is a long song. Obviously the walk down the aisle is alot shorter that the song. Which part of the song did you use? The beginning and then just cut it off? This has been confusing me. Thanks!
