Song for my sister - help

Hi girls, its me again. I am considering dedicating my bouqet to my sister (Maid of Honor) instead of doing the 'traditional' bouquet toss. I am looking for a song that I can have the dj play while I present the bouquet to her. Does any one have any suggestions? Thanks a whole bunch! Denise

Song for my sister - help

Well I am doing 'Wind Beneath My Wings', when I dance with my Mom. The other song I was considering but she is my younger sister and best friend. Hmm. what a dilemma.

Song for my sister - help

You Got A Friend- James Taylor When you're down and troubled and you need a helping hand and nothing, whoa nothing is going right. Close your eyes and think of me and soon I will be there to brighten up even your darkest nights. You just call out my name, and you know whereever I am I'll come running, oh yeah baby to see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. You've got a friend. If the sky above you should turn dark and full of clouds and that old north wind should begin to blow Keep your head together and call my name out loud and soon I will be knocking upon your door. You just call out my name and you know where ever I am I'll come running to see you again. Winter, spring, summer or fall all you got to do is call and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend? People can be so cold. They'll hurt you and desert you. Well they'll take your soul if you let them. Oh yeah, but don't you let them. You just call out my name and you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again. Oh babe, don't you know that, Winter spring summer or fall, Hey now, all you've got to do is call. Lord, I'll be there, yes I will. You've got a friend. You've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. You've got a friend.

There is a song on the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack that I think would be perfect. Whitney Houston sings it with another female singer (not sure exactly who)'Count on Me through thick and thin, a friendship like ours will never end, when you are weak I'll be strong helping you to carry on call on me I will be there...you can count on me'is some of the words in the song.

song for sis...

Are you going to play an entire song for a dedication of a bouquet? It seems a whole song might be too much...are you going to dance with her, cuz I think that would change things. My idea was for that song 'we are family', I don't know who sings it but it would be cute and can be cut short.

song for sis...

I didn't think of that. I will have to ask the DJ, if he has seen it done. I don't think I am going to dance with her, I am dancing with my Mom, but my sister will be embarrased if I pull her into my arms! :-))))) Thanks for all the suggestions, Girls. You did a great job.!
