soo ... it actually happened .. (vent)

well ... as you all know my FH's brother got engaged valentines day and were planning on having the wedding a month after ours ...

well ... they have already booked ... only a few weeks after ours ...

SO NOW ITS ON! LIKE DONKEY KONG!!

they are having thier wedding on a sunday at 11:15am ....


I am going to turn my lemons into BIZATCH lemonade!!

We are going to make thier wedding look like a childrens party!! I know this is wrong ... but why must they ride our coat tails??!!

We will be bigger and best ... nobody will even remember whats his name;s wedding!!!

You go girl! I agree! ANd your wedding is FIRST and by the time you have yours it will be too late for them to 'fix' their wedding. Just keep everything top secret, and act like you don't care.... kill them with kindness!

you know it!! They already know too much! we are making a full 180 ... inviting 150 now, instead of 125 (they are inviting 100) ...

the list goes on.. what they are doing is hurtful and selfish .... so what if I am a bridezilla! I will mislead them in every way!! /

They did pick a nice venue. Hopefully everything else will s*ck! LOL. Do you really think they did it to spiteful? Or did they have their heart set on a winter wedding. I'm trying to see the good in people. LOL

no ... its out of spite .. FH had a fight with his brother late jan ... he decided he was getting married 2 weeks later ..

sibling rivalry ... they are only 21 and 22 ... add 10 years on to us ....

GRRR .... well ... we have the $$ to get married ... they are counting on donations!!!

Very mature of them. Kidding of course. You'd think the girl would have the common sense to delay the wedding...despite the fight Fh and his brother had. People are really stupid and catty.

My dad loves sunday morning/afternoon weddings. I give you credit..I am too lazy to get up that early. LOL. But what I love about day weddings is that you really get to enjoy the scenery! My RH is beautiful outside...but no one will be able to see it

i must agree, but u know ur wedding will be better.

I know how you must feel.. my sis got engaged right at the same time as me and was planning on having her wedding right near mine as well... but after she realized she had to pay for the wedding (my dad's not chipping in for either of us) she postponed it. Go ahead and out do her!!! I'm all for it!!! (Just hoping my sis doesn't steal my ideas for her future wedding)

Just be careful not to give away too much of your awesome ideas so they can't add to their wedding and also don't be too spiteful or mean. After all you don't want mother nature to get you back by having a huge storm for your wedding and a gorgeous day for theirs.. that would s**k.
