so i come home and get my mail today and there is a summons from the court in my mail box
so i check and its for two unpaid tickets for $120...so of course im like ***...so i call to find out what they are for.
both tickets are at 8:30am and 1:30pm during working hours (i work 8-4)!!!! AND i don't leave work to go for lunch and my work isn't near those locations and I wasn't even there...one was by a hospital. I dont even know anyone that's sick!!!! and one is on some road that I've never even heard of or know how to get to!
the lady on the phone was sooooo rude to me. she's like there's no error on our part. your car was there whether u were or not. and if u cant make it on monday at 6pm tough luck for you.
um maybe the cop read the plates wrong??? and possibly made an error? but no...she said they are NEVER wrong. i want to punch her!
so now its my word against the judge i guess. i guess im going to get my vp to write me something on letterhead and see if my manager can sign it too...to at least bring something!!!!!

I had a friend who had similiar problem last year and the judge threw it out of court, and ha had to pay nothing, my experience with tickets is... 9 times out of 10 the police officer doesnt show up at court date, and if doesnt show up, it gets thrown out... Also saw on Fox 5 to check every detail on ticket or ticket copy they give you, if anything missing or looks weird contest it. Hope it works out for you.
