I don't want to buy a costume, but I would prefer to build one out of things I can find in a thrift store. Like, I prefer obscure costumes- like- Oh, I'm so and so from that movie.

eh- nevermind. I wa sgoing to be Lily Allen, but I won't look anything like her. The girl scout idea was cute.
I still have my costume if you want it. We sewed everything and the skirts are a drawstring, so they're easy to fit into. (you'd have to wear a white button down shirt) The hat is an actual brownie beanie so you'd have to bobby pin it on, unless you have a head the size of a 7 year old.
ignore the chick in the front's sash. she made her own patches and they blew donkey balls.
I am hitting uo the thrift stores this weekend to find a dress, so I can try it on. I will find something that will work as like, a motherboard, and attach it under a panel cut out in the back of the dress, and leave the panel open. I need mary janes.

I totally have clunky mary janes that I wore with a MInnie Mouse costume - from Payless, 7.5 worn once, you can have them if you want them...

Nada. I went to several thrift stores- no luck on either. They had plenty of wedding gowns, but they were like $90. I contemplated something else, though- I will FM.
