A forum says that the black screen is because we were watching through Tony's eyes and he just got whacked, hence everything going black and quiet.

At first, I thought my IO got screwed up After 'THAT WAS IT?!' shock wore off, FH, my father, & I chalked it up to the same thing. The last thing he saw was Meadow coming in the door & then he was shot & it ended.

Whatever happened, I'm so disappointed. Worst ending EVER.

I guess fans wouldve never been satisified any one way. Its was still frustrating to me bc Ive seen so many amazing episodes and that, for the most part, just felt like any of the less exciting ones that didnt entirely hold my interest. The only reason it did was the prospect of some sort of culmination of the past 7 yrs, but..nope. Just another day in the lives of the Sopranos!

I slaved over a pan of lasagna for that crummy finale! At least the lasagna was good!

I honestly thought that it was going to go out kinda like the The Godfather ending......where Michael's daughter gets killed instead of Michael. But then it went to black and I was beyond P I S S E D!!!! Ugh!!!!

PS - About that movie thing......Someone said to me that James Gandolfini would not be on board for it. Don't know how true that is but it's what I heard!

I read an interview with him where he said that he was through with playing Tony. But you never know a few years down the road. If he's offered enough money, maybe he'll go for it. They really have nobody left for a movie though.

FH totally disagrees with me, but I don't think anything happened at the end after thinking about it. I think that was just... the end. Everything goes forward for the Soprano family, but we just don't see what's happening anymore.

that may be the WORST finale in tv history. i can't believe it.

why the fuuuuuuuuk did they waste all that time in the end with meadow parallel parking and shiiit? they really made us believe a hit was about to happen with the ppl in the restaurant.

i'm so disgusted right now

ETA: i just realized that we have invested TEN YEARS into this program. from the first episode until now--nearly 10 years has transpired and THAT is the ending they give us?!??!!??
