I agree about lap dances, I think they are inapropriate. I told FH that if he would be OK with me giving some random guy a lap dance, then he can go ahead and get one.

But I wish some of the meaner comments on here about strippers would be rethought. You never know who may be a former stripper, (they get married too),and would be really personally insulted by being called a wh0re.

I never thought of it that way. I personally don't care for strippers for myself. It's something about sweaty men in my face that bother me. But to be honest, I really don't care if FH had one either. Just don't get ridiculous w/ it

As for the strip clubs in AC, MOST of the things I've heard are that the girls are gross-(which is good, haha!) and most of them are NOT bottomless....

This is somewhat good to hear . My FH is going to AC for his best man's bachelor party. I agree about the lap dances. I have a real issue with that and have been told that he won't do that. I just hope he doesn't give in to the peer pressure...he is often very affected by that!

Think of it this way........your DH is not going to leave you for some skanky ho. He's just going to have some laughs with his friends. Even the guys who go to these things laugh at the situation. As long as he does not risk his health or yours (you know what I mean), just laugh at the situation.

My DH came home from a bachelor party so disgusted once. A stripper noticed he was wearing a Breitling watch and commented on it. Then she was all over him, thinking he had cash. She was being so obvious about it that he would not even talk to her. He was annoyed, not turned on!! It's become joke and whenever I want something or just want to flirt I say, 'Oh, nice watch.'

I agree, who are we to judge ANYONE. I am actually disgusted by the things some girls say....judge not !!!

ETA: I do not personally know any strippers but I would venture to say most are strippers to a) pay for school or b) take care of thier kids

I have to agree with Stephanie- it's just a job for them-a way to make money

more money then most of us make I'm sure-maybe that's why some many people have problems with it

if it bothers you that much- then the issues is with your FH - not with the Strippers- and if it's just a once and a while thing- then let him go and have fun- if it's every weekend- then it's a problem

ALL of you are right... Its a ONE time thing. It does make me feel better that most of you understand that it means nothing and its not THAT big of a deal. I guess I just needed some conviencing that I shouldnt care so much. Thanks!
