Sorry but this is another FIL vent...

My FIL's are driving me crazy!! My FI's uncle is a catholic priest and he was supposed to perform the ceremony. Now he finds out that we are not having a mass and he refuses to do the ceremony now. My FI and agreed that we only wanted a ceremony and now his parents are convincing him that this is what we should have...blah..blah..blah. Now he is telling me that I am being unreasonable!! I don't think I am being unreasonable. I agreed to get married in a church (I am catholic but not really practicing. I would rather have gotten married outside at my hall) I also gave in to have bagpipers at the reception (for a short time, not the entire recetion. His father really wanted them there) now this is the last straw. I am not a good public speaker, when I was in college I had to go to a class with a real good buzz on so I could give a speach (isn't that sad...)I don't think I am going to be able to stand in front of alot of my family and friends for a long period of time. (Not to mention that I have been really emotinal lately and will probably be crying when I say my vows).

its your day, so it should be you and your fiances decision...
if your worried about the lenght of time, you do get to sit down for part of it, and you dont have to talk loud, the videographer will put a little mic so its picked up for the video....
