We talked about when I was going to go off birth control and originally I had chosen right before the wedding because that's when my prescription ran out.
Then I was like 'well... maybe I'll stop in July just to give it more time to get out of my system' (I wanted as much time as possible for it to be out of my body before we start trying for )
But then I changed my mind and decided going off in October would be more than fine.
Well I just went to pick up my prescription and my coverage (which is a whole longer story as to what that all is) is done and now I'd have to pay $80 a month for it.
FH called home from work.
Anyways the exerpt is:
'Sorry I'm not paying $80 a month for this. If you don't want babies you better wrap it up, babe.'
I'm sort of scared.
It's been a long, long time since I've not been on BC.
I want babies... but not til after the wedding LOL.

ITA ... i spoke with my dr a couple of weeks ago about this ... she said the reason that its so important to make sure you consistently take the pill is because it doesn't 'stay in your system' ... so once you stop, that's it ...

Egg White Cervical Mucous yummmmm! its the discharge u typically get just prior to ovulation. Its makes for perfect environment for sperm to swim.
If u think about it, isn't it amazing the way we were created? I mean us as women. Lol. I guess this is why I love gynecology.
All the prenatals are great. Its trial and error what will be good for u. However I DO recommend one with a stool softner in it. The iron in it can be constipating, as can pregnancy as well. Most of them contain it now, but not all. Also, most of them are made w DHA which is supposed to be good for brain development- just incase the baby has a y-chromasome (hahaha just kidding. I'm totally not a man-basher. A gyn I used to work for used to say that and I thought it was cute.)

You'll be fine. I have never taken BC (I mean we use plastic lol), but there haven't been any issues in almost four years of being together.

I already take prenatals and, for me, I do need a few months to get it out of my system, maybe longer...
We are going to try for a boy and in order to follow what you need to do for that you need your cycle to be regulated and chart it (birth control free) for a few months.
ETA: to all those suggesting i get 'generic'... i was using nuva ring and the whole story is complicated. so... it's just done.
we're just going to have to deal with it. we were going to stop BC in october anyways so... just a few more months.
Old wives tale! Hahaha. But good luck and have fun! Supposedly, sperm which will make a female swim faster, so there's a thought that u can manipulate it based on the timing of when u ovulate. I'm sure its fun to try and see if it works. :)
And to all the pull and pray ladies, count ur blessings cuz pull and pray=pregnancy for many unlucky couples LOL. However I am guilty myself of using this a few times.
