So i went to Bridal Reflections last night (Massapequa) and I had a wonderful experience! My sales woman was Darnell and she was exactly the type of sales person I wanted! She was attentive, knowledgeable and nice without being over the top.

So I THINK I may have narrowed down my dress choices finally, but I'm going to their James Clifford trunk show in 2 weeks to check out those styles and reevaluate my 2 choices (below).

The first one is Phillipa and I love it. This might be my choice. My mom, sister and friend like it too, but they all love the second dress, Victoriana. My friend is GAGA about it actually. My sister and mom understand my standpoint: I wanted a non-traditional dress, something that people probably haven't seen before. I've been to a few weddings in the past few years and while the brides' dresses are beautiful, I feel like they're all very similar.

While I do not have pictures, both dresses were very flattering on me. Phillipa gave me a great hourglass figure and Victoriana ****** me in and made me look so freakin' thin!

When I got back to my apartment last night, I showed my roommate (BM) Phillipa and she liked it a lot, but then she jaw dropped when she saw Victoriana.
I guess I'm still not sure and I'm definitely leaning towards Phillipa anyway.

***I've been showing FH pics of dresses SIMILAR to the mermaid/trumpet style I like (Phillipa) and he likes them a lot. I value his opinion so does anyone have a pic SIMILAR to Victoriana that I can ask his opinion on?***

I also want your opinion Ladies!!

if you are looking for a dress with a similar style to show FH, check out demetrious gowns...i saw a few that resembled that

I love #1!!! but i also voted for it bc u should def go with what you like and not just what everyone else loves.

I really like the second one. It looks beautiful and much more comfy to me. the first one is beautiful as well but it looks like it would be a little annoying to be running around in all day. That´s just me though. I really go for comfort.

You need to pic the dress that YOU love.
Everyone will love whatever you wear, DO NOT be swayed by friends and families opinions. Everyone will have a different vision for you, its really what you envision yourself in that's most important. Good luck!

I vote #1, I think a lot of people especially family get wrapped up in the 'traiditional' look of a bride having a more poofy dress and im not saying thats why you liked it too but i feel that they are so different and you might be considering #2 because its more of a traditional gown but you sound like you really love #1. I also love #1 even more anyway!
