Sorry to crash 08

Hey girls,
I hope everyone is enjoying planning their weddings. I am a newlywed, married in August. My best friend just got engaged and she is looking for a hall that holds about 300-350 people. Does anyone have any suggestion/pictures/adivce? Also, has anyone had any difficulty booking in the fall of 2009 yet? Thanks a bunch girls.

I am not sure about the hall thing. Mines will not be anywhere near that size, (at least I am hoping it doesn't get out of hand).
If I think of anything I will hop on again.

if you look on the 09 boards you'll see alot of them have already book their halls with no problem so it should be fine.

I have about 300-350 guests and it will be at JT, there are a few other places that do hold that many. Tell her to get locations magazine, it shows tons of places and their capacity...when i remember others that hold that many ppl i'll post it lol

OH WAIT, Russo's on the bay can hold alot of ppl too

FH's cousin got married at marina del rey this summer. she had 400 guests, and we were comfortable. the food was also really good.

Hotels do not have problems with that amount of people. Check the Hyatt in NYC and HYATT in Jersey City which has AMAZING views of NYC....
Capitale, Cipriani also can accomodate alot of people. Gotham Hall

Can't Nicotra's Ballroom (Staten Island) hold like 600 people?

Jericho Terrace
Surf Club (New Rochelle)
Girgios (I am almost postiive but now I can't remember what they said when I went there)

*Russos
Didn't look at these for my wedding but have been there before for other events*

I believe they do -- I know I called them but the pricing was expensive and with over 300 people just wasn't in our budget.
