eta: i see they come in 40 hour, 80 hour, 120 hour (very differnt in pricing)

I aM NOT SURE WHAT WE HAVE, i THINK 40. I am pretty sure beacsue it will start deleting things after a while.

we had the 40 hr and it was more than enough since we deleted when we watched what we taped

I have a 60, and we've managed to fill it on occassion. Remember that it only contains the maximum number of hours if you record on the lowest setting -- which can look a bit fuzzy! I'd recommend the 80 if it will be used my multiple people who like different shows!

thanks everyone. i ordered the 80 hour one b/c its going to be used by me, dh and im sure we will record shows for our DD when she comes. And Dh has like 10 favorite shows that are an hour long and are sometimes on 3 times a day (those american chopper, monster house/car shows) and well thats gonna clog up the thing alone

and oh yes the simpsons thats on 3 times a day! thanks ladies and thanks to lvdolphns who posted the original ? its making an EXCELLENT xmas gift for my dh!
