FH is hearing impaired, reads lips perfectly, and no one in his family learned to use sign language. He prefers it, because he is the only in his family that is hearing impaired and feels that he needs to join their world not the other way around..
Anyway, I would like to surprise him by signing our wedding vows, even tho he says it's no big deal, (me not knowing sign language) I know how much it would really mean to him..
So my question is.. does anyone know where I can get inexpensive lessons? I have tried the learning DVD (from amazon.com) but I think I would do better with a real live teacher
Thanks in advance Jennifer

Re: Sorta NWR: Anyone know of...
try a library or an adult education course at a local high school at night....sometimes they offer ASL courses....some colleges offer ASL as a language course as well...or contact a school for the hearing impaired for some tutoring lessons...and then the $$ will be going to a good cause
