Re: South Beach

I did the SBD for a while. The first 2 weeks are definitely the hardest part. I followed it exactly and it really wasn't so hard. The only bad part were the headaches I got, which are normal, because you rid yourself of your craving etc. BUT you ease them back in during stage 2 and 3.

I don't ever weigh myself on the scale because to me, thart's just a silly #. It's how you feel. I can't say I 'lost' all that much, but I felt better and that little pooch got a bit smaller.

I really think it depends on who you are and your body type.

I linked a good website for you that I use to go on ALL the time for support. Kind of like LIW. It's really good.

Good luck!!

Re: South Beach

Oh it totally helps you. That link I gave you helped me so much. Because after the 1st two weeks it's kind of confusing as to what you can eat and how you should bring certain things back into your diet... Phase 2 is kind of a trial basis because you learn what foods trigger your insulin levels and spike cravings. That's why phase 1 is SO important because you have to allow your body to get rid of all that. I had trouble with Phase 2. But I was very diligent about Phase 1.

Get signed up on that beginner board and check out the posts.

I might actually do it again myself because nothing else is working for me!
