South Shore Reception Halls?

FH and I are visiting Vanderbilt this weekend and since it's sucha long trip we thought maybe we could check out another palce or 2 on the way> What else is on the So. Shore?

The Bourne Mansion is in the same town (Oakdale). The Snapper Inn is also near there.

It's recently renovated... I would say it's probably pretty modern. It's a beautiful place- my favorite are the floor to ceiling windows

I can vouch for Chateau as well. It's gorgeous and they are SO nice and accomodating.

Nutty, I love those pictures. I forgot to take pictures when I was there for the tasting so these are helpful.

Lands End (Sayville) is one of the most unbelievable places I've ever attended a wedding at. I've been to 3 weddings there - and I'd have mine there too if I was the South Shore worked into my plan. The service is outstanding, as is the food. Also, I can't imagine a better setting for pictures - on the Great South Bay - but they also have a ton of greenery and gardens too. Check it out - you won't be disappointed!
