Wore them on my wedding day and for my sisters wedding. They definitely smooth things out alot! I have also tried on some of the cheaper brands and didnt like them. I think Spanx is the strongest and holds you in the best. I also dont think they are uncomfortable...mine are just right. I got a size medium but the small was sooooooo tiny!

Also I dont recommend the biker short ones..those are ridicilously tight, uncomfortable and hard to get up and down..

thanks chicas....im glad you all say that they are good - ill let my friend know and see if she wants to try buying a pair to bring to the next fitting....i wish the bridal salon had them - im surprised they dont - they are like the most popular undergarment out there - you would think bridal salons would carry them

I wore them once. They were very uncomfortable for me and since I don't exactly badly need them I probably would not do it again. That said - at my sister's wedding a bunch of the bm used them and their dresses def did fit better with them.

you know what i want but FH laughed at me - i wanted to get those undies that have butt pads in them - so that i look more curvy in my reception dress - but i didn't get them in time for my fitting....but i kind of want them - since i started working out my butt deflated

i love spanx.. .just wish they made them for arms...lmaoo!! that's my biggest problem area that i wont be able to cover on the big day! lol. but a lot of my friends wear spanx.. even the ones who are soo skinny i just wanna smack em..lmao..just cause they wanna smooth out the weird spots or rolls that they think they have!! But for me .. i know they def help!!!
