Speaking of Bachelor Party's, How would you feel?

The possibility has been mentioned that my FH's 2 BM and his friends might be planning his bachelor party in Costa Rica. I am not thrilled with this idea and neither are any of their gf's or wives. How would you ladies feel?

I just dont see any good reason why they should need to leave the country for a bachelor party. It's ridiculous, especially since we are having a destination wedding in Vegas, which is going to be expensive enough.

Just wondering if I am being irrational by asking them to keep it within the US?

I wouldn't have much of an issue with him going anywhere that has cell coverage. We went to the bahamas for a destination wedding and our cell's did not work there and FH refused to use the phone in our room. It was a nice change but I would be worried sick about him if he could not call me for days.

I guess we'll just wait and see what happens. We are getting married in Sept. and another of his good friends is getting married 2 months before that and another the week after us and my BFF (MOH) in Aruba in June so from that point on it's going to be INSANELY busy and expensive for us, especially when you add on the obscene amount of money we are paying for our wedding (with no help from anyone else)which is in Vegas and FH and I will be there for a whole week. So I kind of looked at it like, our wedding is a vacation and going to be one helluva party...I mean comeon, It's Vegas it does not get any crazier than that. So then why go away again 30 days before. I guess I get it though, He is 35 and a lot of his friends are already married.

I trust him, so I guess I can bend a little. After reading all your advice also, I realized maybe we should just plan my bachelorette party for that same weekend, that way it will keep my mind off things. We are thinking Miami, cuz if he's going away then so am I.

I don't mind, FI is going to vegas for his bachelor party. I plan on doing the same for my bachelorette party.


Same here.....we plan on doing something the same weekend but away with the girls for a weekend would be nice!! I see it as let them go away one last time have some fun with their boys....they would be dumb to do anything stupid my family members will be with him anyway!

yeah no i wouldnt go for that either, thats too far i can understand vegas or sumthing or just away with the guys buttt....whats the deal with going away? wouldnt u want to asve the goign away for ur honeymoon....its not liek hes goign to do anythign but still y cant they do it here.....ur not being irrational at all.....its not liek hes ot going to be able to go away withthe guys ever again they just get silly

I agree...there is no reason to have togo to another country for a bach party. I dont think you are being irrational. Especially with wedding costs...who needs to spend so much money on airfare etc...Good Luck
