LOL You guys crack me up! I knew last night when I posted that this might cause some confusion.....
When I was at my gyno earlier this year, we spoke about the steps to take to TTC, and I filled my presciption and began taking the pills just in case. Then, the more DH and I discussed this, we realized we're not YET ready for it. We still need to get a bit more settled into married life, and I'd love to find a house or condo before anything happens.
We don't want to wait too long though - maybe within the next year? We keep changing our mind! LOL

It's only because we 'love' ya Teri! I'm not ready yet either, but taking the prenates might be a good idea. I just make sure I take a multi everday. Maybe a year before we TTC, I'll start taking them. I don't plan on having kids for at least 2 years.

Cira - that was my feeling too - I always take a multi-vitamin each day, so that will be fine for now. Maybe a few mths before we first start TTC I'll go back to the Prenates. I just seemed like a waste for now, so I stopped.
BTW, I read that you're moving into your house this weekend - how exciting!!! I assume you're finally done with all the major work you wanted to do?

Hey Teri ... yes, we cleaned last week and are moving in this weekend. We still need to finish the basement, but for the most part, everything else is done, FINALLY! I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for asking!

I'm also taking PreCare (Chewables). I really like them - they are the first vitamins where when I take one I want another one!

I started Prenate./ No sickness yet....but a weird taste when I burp!
I guess it's normal. So hard to tell when everything feels and tastes so strange anyway. What a trip this is going to be!!

I take pre-natal vitamins.. (not the prescription kind)
The pharmacist told me to buy the generic brand of pre-natals and then buy a bottle of folic acid.. He said that the only difference between the 2 was that the RX one has a higher dosage of folic acid...
