what is the oddest place that you and FMIL (or FFIL) have hung out?

mine is the gym. i decided it would be fun to take FMIL to gym to go to a class. they had belly dancing and yoga so i figured it wouldnt be that hard. and we could just have fun.

it totally didnt work. she never been to a gym before and NYSC intimidated her. she felt pretty uncomfortable from the get-go. then we go to locker room and she sees a woman strolling around butt n@ked. she looked at me wondering if it was always like this. i told her no. she couldnt help but laugh about it later like ***..where am i ...twilight zone kind of thing. haha

then we went to the class and we had to shake our hips. well, it wasnt really workin out. i kept tryin to encourage her. but i think cuz she was already uncomfortable, she didnt even want to try anymore so she gave up and sat to the side during the class. i felt so bad and sad that she just gave up.

then after class we were ready for yoga. but she was like what? there is more? so i walked her out and she got in her car and left.

it was just an uncomfortable situation. o well. dont think we will be bonding at the gym anytime soon.

we don't hang out and i would like to keep it that way!

the day i get a manicure with her is the day hell freezes over!

I don't have a FMIL.... Its sad I know you many of you have troubles with them. But I actually get jealous of some of your troubles.....

FFIL on the other hand, no where really... other than like a parade, but that is public so no where

me and the FMIL hang out everywhere....we jog, shop, eat, gossip you name it we do it....

the wierdest hang out for me was at a bridal shower. We sat next to eachother and right before they opened the gifts the BMs decided to play a game... pass the cucumber. It's like hot potatoe however its with a cucumber and you have to put the cucumber between your legs and pass it to the lady to your left.. very inappropriate and tramatic bumping fronts with the FMIL....

Come to think of it, I've never gone out with FMIL alone. FH is ALWAYS there!

Honestly, I don't think I'd be comfortable just hanging out with her. I've been around FH and his family for 9 years, but it's still very awkward with FMIL.

OMGmeeee toooo!!! and the best part is i pretty much wore dental floss that day and shes super traditional she was probably like 'omg this girl has corrupted my son!' lolololololo

i duno we pretty much go everwhere together..shes actually on her way over lol

sunday we went to the outlets and to the mall. the week b4 we went upstate outlets and stew leonards. no complaints lol.

if i have a cut or a headache shes over in 5 min with half of cvs with her. gota love it
