Spinnoff from washing Jeans.. washing Jammies and socks

Jim says Im a panty drawer whore. hehe

I have so many underwear, socks, jammies, slips, nighties and such you'd think I lived out my life in my bed.

I have two drawers filled with socks undies and jammies. Then I took all my 'white' socks and put them in Jim's sock drawer.

I can NOT wear the same sock twice. Drives me nutty. If I get up and put socks on them come home take them off and later need to go out... NEW socks. Jim thinks I'm crazy.

Jammies (my other nutty habit) once I find a type I like, I buy like four. I have at least 6 that all look practically alike. They are different size and colored stripes, but they all come from the Pink collection of Vickies. Jim says I'm gonna lose a pair cause they all look alike. I love the feel of clean jammies!!

Anyone else?

I have loads of underwear and pj's and socks. But I don't have to change socks like you do.

DH, on the otherhand, has to change his underwear as soon as he gets home because he says his butt sweats. And he changes his socks frequently too.

Im with you on the sockthing... i canNOT wear a pair of socks more than once (when it comes off, it stays off!)... DH makes it seem like im WEIRD for that.. ummm HELLO.. Clean, not weird!
(bad enough i dont clean my sheets every day and am forced to sleep in body soil) (yeah, i want to thank the chlorox commercial for pointing that out to me )


the PJ thing... i wear sweats and and t-shirt. the t shirt i can wear up to 3 times, but not in the summer. pants i wear a few times each too... i LOVE the feel of crisp clean PJs but since i dont have a washer and dryer at home, i cant clean them every other day like i would like to so i guess for them, its about 3 times max.

but theres no budging on the socks

I blame my stepmonster (mother).

When my Dad her got together she told me I could have my step sister's hand me downs. Ok, I've had tough times before and I love my Dad and went along with it.. except the socks. DROVE ME NUTS. Wore out, dirty socks. They were clean she said and I could learn to darn the holes she said. I couldnt stand them!! I remember she would say 'when you get older and become some rich #$itch then you can get your own socks' So I do.

I used to say I could feel the cold sweat from used socks I had to put back on. EWW!

Actually probably dates further back from my stepmonster I just HATE my feet dirty in ANYWAY. Makes going to the beach a problem *shrug*
