like i said... there could've been ten or more different possibilities. and even though conservative and republican DON'T maan the same thing... i just put party names for non-overloading purposes.
CANNOT BELIEVE it is tied between republican and democrat.
i always feel so on my own...
I'm surprised too! I went to a very liberal college and felt all my friends were super liberal...I feel like alot of young people tend to be liberal...or maybe thats just me. Good to know I'm not alone!!

Re: spinoff about politics from other thread.
it's a young person thing. and moreso, a NY thing!!
whats the quote... 'if you're not a liberal when you're young you dont have a heart. if you're not a conservative when you're old you dont have a brain.'
its sort of true in my eyes. i think a lot of liberals look at things with major idealism. conservatives look at things realistically.
except for neo-conservatives... they're practically worse (in that regard) than liberals. and george dubya...god bless 'em... was a neo-con.

most young people dont really know alot about the political spectrum and usually go liberal because its the cool hip thing and its pretty much force fed in schools. I think more become less liberal as they get older and see what the world really is but thats just my opinion.

Long Island tends to be very Republican.
I am a Democrat, and a pretty left leaning one at that.
