I am curious...how many of you were lurkers before posting?
Was it hard lurking without adding your own comments?

I started posting as soon as I joined LIW, but I only posted occasionally at the beginning. I started on BHB and the 04 board, then branched out to NWR.

I 'lurked' for about 6 weeks and then one morning I read a thead about insane mothers I could lurk no longer!!!!! I had to post & boy did it feel good! I felt so much better venting a little....I love my mom but there are times...that she drives me over the edge!

I was already married when i found out about this website from a friend who is also on here! and i am so glad she told me about it because all of the people on here are sooo sweet and i love chatting with everyone!!

I admit it. I was a lurker. I was 'shy' to post. I felt uncomfortable because I was already married and thought people would be like 'Why are you posting'..LOL Boy was I wrong. LIW has helped me with ideas for bridal showers, baby showers, my sister having a baby, and being a BM. I still go on BHB because I am in 3 weddings (2 this year and a MOH next year in my brothers wedding). Im glad I started posting because you ladies/gents are the best!!!!

ok i find this interesting..you lurked here for 3 YEARS? WHY What would you find remotely interesting to read on here?

I basically posted on the BHB board before I got married and posted on the NWR board about four or five months before I got married. I believe I lurked for about a week to see what was being posted and then I started to ask a question.

I wouldn't call myself a lurker..except for on TTC and Parenting...there I'm doing alot or reading as I try to decide whether or not I'm ready to have kids. Reading other people questions and stories really help...
As for other boards I only post when I have something to add or ask...I try not to get involved in the BS...
