Okay
We are paying for it
We are having a Friday wedding
We are using a LOT of red.
My dress... (enough said about that)
I'm changing for the reception.
We are getting married at night.
No tuxes
I'm not being given away.
No parents on the invite, or bp
My brother Jake is walking me down the asle, and so is my FSIL walking with my FH not to give us away, only to welcome the other into the family. (my new tradition!)
Theres black in my wedding.
I'm getting married by a woman
My wedding is outside
No rb
My FGs are wearing red fairy dresses.
I might do artist face painting.
Its a medieval theme.
We are having the reception at the church.
We are playing lots heavey metal, hard rock and renaissance folk music.
No hard liquor bar
We are having a stationed buffet
We are throwing leaves not rice or petals.
Most of our guest will be wearing medieval clothing (their choice.)
We are discouraging tuxes for our guest.
We are using different color candles for the alter no white. Our unity candle will be red we think.
No veil. I'm wearing a red cloack instead.
No mother/son or father/daughter dances
Just a DJ no band.
My FH didn't ask for my familys permission for a blessing or to marry me.
I think I got it all....

My bridesmaids are wearing black (my favorite color)

The flower girl is wearing red. (Our accent color)

We're getting married in the Spring and we've heard from a lot of people that our colors are not 'Springy'. I hate pastels.

we live together.

Seeing each other before the wedding

having one of the flowergirls be the ring bearer

Not sure of other traditions that we are breaking.

Not covering my shoulders in Temple.

Not fasting before the wedding (Jewish tradition that not many know about).

No garter toss.

No BP intros and thus no arch (I just don't dig it).

No anniversary dance (my parents would have been the winners)

I am sure there are more but I cant think right now!

Hmmm...let's see

-no bok toss
-no remove of the garter
-both mom and dad are walking me down the aisle.

I'm sure there is more I just can't think right now.

Similar to most of yours:

-Seeing each other before the ceremony.
-No bo-k or garter toss
-No flowergirl
-Don't think I want 'Here Comes the Bride' as I walk down the aisle

...and I can't think of all the other rules I'm sure I'm breaking!

Oh boy, there are definitely a lot of traditions I am breaking.

Here's my list:
- living together
- know about shower
- know about bachelorette
- mom and dad walking me down the aisle
- all of our parents and step-parents on the invites
- no BP or parents introductions
- no e-party
- no sit down dinner (mansion style dinner)
- no Rolls to drive us away from the church
- no FG or RB
- no garter/Bo-K toss
- not saving our top tier from the cake
- no blusher
- uneven BP (he has more)
- ivory dress

It's about making the day your own anyway!!!!
