Well, let's see now...

1. Not getting married in a church.
2. I have a man on my side and he has a woman on his. (Man/Woman of Honor.)
3. Not walking in to 'Here Comes The Bride.'
4. All my girls are wearing different dresses.

There are so many....let me get back to you on that!!

From the top of my head...we put my parents names first and his parents names on the invites even though we're paying for 98% of the wedding.

We're getting married at our hall.

My invites were RED.

Seeing each other before ceremony.

Not walking down to 'here comes the bride'

No corsages for mothers.

Not all the flowers will be the same.

girl, we did the same thing with the invites. my sister flipped!! i honestly don't care, yes we are paying, but they are still our parents and have raised us and deserve the respect, imo.

My son is walking me down the aisle
I'm dancing with him at reception
I'm living in Sin
I used clear labels for outer envelopes on invites!!!
I'm wearing white and I'm not a 'virgin' the shame
FH is younger than me

That's all I can think of right now.

We didn't put any parent's names on the invitations, just our own. It wasn't so much a matter of breaking the rules, it's just what made the most sense for us!

ETA: I forgot a few others!
FH didn't ask my father for my hand, tho he did ask my grandfather
Not getting married in a church, using contemporary music for ceremony
No blusher
Living together before marriage, in SIN!
Marrying a divorced man 16.5 years my senior, who has a kid
Not doing the garter toss

Our situations are so similar!
