SPINOFF - How many people make more then their DH?

This was on the Today show this morning about how more working woman make more money then their husbands. If you do make more, how does that affect your DH?

I'll start....I don't make more then DH but we make around the same amount. I don't think it is an issue with him but there is no way he would leave his job to raise kids at home while i worked (if i made more money). To much of a shot to his ego.

I do but he had way less debt coming into the marriage so it always seems like he made more. Now that our money is comined it doesnt make a difference. We are working together toward the same goals.

I wish!!!

After grad school though, I should make as much, if not morre than him. Both of us are OK with it. I'd actually like to make enough so that he can retire & be a SAHH

For a while I did make a lot more but, not any more He was always fine with it - I don't think he cared much either way...

Right now we both work for civil service - I make more than him because I've been working longer - but eventually he will make more than me. With what he does he gets promotions more frequently.
