Spinoff of 'useless celebrity' What's your most useless kitchen appliance or gadget??
Mine is my rice cooker. It's not work it to me to haul it out when I can make rice just as easily in a pot!

My salad spinner gets way less use than I was expecting....wouldn't exactly call it useless, but I have to admit I'm disappointed...

believe it or not, I pretty much use every appliance I have- from the rice cooker (which I use 2 times a week at least- but it's hello kitty- who wouldn't want to see that) to the fondue pot to the food processor.
I would say the one thing I really don't use too much is the stick blender (and I have 2 of them) and the electric fry pan.. I know it will come in handy one day- but that day hasn't come yet.

I have a strawberry huller- that's right. I have a gadget that pulls the stems off the strawberries...I have never used it, not once. I just pull the stems off. and I have only used my electric griddle once. It is a pain IMO to pull it out just to make pancakes. I just use my pan instead. I use my 'big' stuff such as the Kitchen Aid Mixer, the chopper, etc.. often.

It's probably my big kitchen aide stand mixer - I love having it, but I don't bake as much as used to. Maybe I'll do something for Easter

Between FH and myself we are kitchen gadget nuts. We both still live with our parents so maybe one day we will use these in our own house. but the list is :
Food injector (he has 2 different types never used)
Food Saver
Orange peeler stick
Bread machine
pineapple corer
Apple peeler ( have 3 of them and use 1 once a year if that)
and this is the best a free gift from tupperware we think it is somethign to get a hardboiled egg out of a pot of water still not exactly sure if that is what it is.
I think it is time for a garage sale.

The juicer...My Fh wanted it and hasn't used the thing yet. And he demanded that we register for a bread maker..Hmmph...that will be a dust collector too

We have not used our bread maker once. DH uses the cuisinart mini prep, I don't.

Food Processor- I havent taken this thing out of the box yet. I am scared of all the blades I chop everything by hand, DH keeps asking why we dont use the food processor. I think I have to leave it on my counter, if you dont it never gets used. I figure, by the time I get it out, set it up etc I can chop the food myself.
Another candidate for the juicer here. My hubby actually loves it as his mom always made fresh juice (things to live up to ) but its a nightmare to clean and you need like 3 oranges to make one cup of juice. The whole purpose of the thing escapes me.

My mini chopper! It's more of a hassle to clean that than my knife and cutting board.
