Spinoff - rivals in your house?

Spinoff - rivals in your house?

The Mets vs. Yankees thing made me think of this. Do you and your hubby/fiance favor the same teams? How does that work?

We have 2 intense rivalries in our house: Yankees (ME) vs. Red Sox (he grew up in Boston) and Syracuse Orange (formerly Orangemen - ME) vs. Uconn Huskies (him). This past two years have been good for both of us in college bball '03 for me and '04 for him for national championships. But the Yankee/Red Sox thing - he'll never win. He is a die hard fan too, I almost feel sorry for him/them and want them to win to put him out of his misery for once. But then I think 'GO YANKEES'!

We are the Met/Yankee thing going in our house. I am not sure how I even feel lin love with a Yankee fan but I did. But we both appreciate baseball in general and I don't believe in trash talking and he doesn't either - so it's all fine.

My house growing up all liked different teams. It was always Raiders (me) Vs. Cowboys (my dad and brother)
Now its Raiders vs. Bills/Jets for FH's family. I guess being a non NY native is definitely going to bring up many rivalaries from now on
